Chief said if they had come just 3 minutes later, the building would have reached its flash point and the entire place would have been lost.
We are counting our blessings, smoke and water damage are significant.
We have no power and it is unlikely we can worship at our facility this Sunday, we are looking at alternatives.
God is gracious--no lives lost, "stuff" can be replaced. I should be given clearance to entering church tomorrow. This will be a great opportunity for service and for galvanizing our people. My leaders are involved and on site.
We are thankful the damage was small compared to a the destruction just two doors down.
